We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Expert to manage and maintain the bank's IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses, in accordance with policies and procedures. You will be responsible for tracking IT assets, managing software licenses, deploying new IT assets, retiring IT assets, collaborating with IT cost managers, and providing regular inventory status reports to senior management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the bank's IT assets, including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Track IT assets for location, status, and lifecycle to identify and mitigate risks to the bank's operations.
- Manage software licenses to ensure compliance with regulations, track usage, and renew licenses as needed.
- Coordinate deployment of new IT assets, including setup, configuration, and training.
- Manage retirement of IT assets, decommissioning hardware and software, and ensuring data is properly archived and disposed of.
- Report about end-of-life systems and propose risk mitigation strategies based on that.
- Collaborate with IT cost managers and the bank's budgeting team to plan and budget for IT asset acquisitions and maintenance.
- Monitor inventory management activities and take appropriate action to address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Provide regular inventory status reports to senior management in agreed-upon formats.
- Ensure that inventory management activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in IT asset management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to IT asset management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
